Happy New Year 2020
Dear Family and Friends,
Another year, another New Year's weekend bringing in the new year in Mendocino. Robert & and I are such creatures of habit, but we know what we like! The feature photo is sunrise on New Year's Eve morning outside our window. After a fun, but very busy Christmas week, this place is the calm I need-- a time for replenishment, relaxation, and preparation for the new year to come. 2020! Yikes! That is a big number! We celebrated the millennium here with Albert and Judith 20 years ago! (and started this tradition of New Year's in Mendo 25 years ago). I'd say we're creatures of habit.
Our Brady Bunch Squared family is as busy as ever, with 10 grandchildren ranging from Justin, almost 28 to Addy just a year and a half. Hailey is almost 16 and is taking driver's training! Hailey, Logan, Paige, Carter, RJ, and Dylan are active in sports-- soccer, basketball, baseball, water polo, and martial arts. The twins started preschool and are the social princesses of their class, rarely seen without tutus. They are an exuberant and fun duo (see the two videos below).
Robert and I continue to travel together and solo-- this year's travels took us both to Mexico City and Puebla in February, Robert in Galicia in March, me back to San Miguel de Allende in April, Hawaii in July, then the two of us on the Oregon coast again visiting Amber and Steve in August . . . all faves of ours.
We feel very blessed to have a large and happy family and the ability to travel as we do. We wish you all happiness, health and a very happy new year to come.
